Sentinel, Breach, Removal, Love 210108

The Sentinel

Patriots or Insurrectionists?

We just had a breach of our national capitol, putting congressmen and senators in danger this week. This has not happened since 1812 when the British sacked the capitol. This should have never happened. I was astounded that this happened and as yet there is no investigation to sort out what went wrong and why. I know there will be investigations in the future.

I am curious as to what you people think, was it patriotism or insurrection?

Presidential Removal?

This is another thing, though related; do you readers think that the president should be removed immediately or should he be allowed to stay in office if he may be mentally unfit at this point?

Love

Everyone has love for something or some one. Some people love only themselves. Career soldiers and sailors love the military service. Politicians love having the power they possess in office. Athletes love the sport they engage in and the renown they receive from participating in that sport. Some people, not all, but some love their family. Some people love money and will do anything to make ever more lucre. Some love academics, be it physics, history, psychology, political science, biology or language. I make no judgement on anyone for whatever he or she may pursue in their quest for love. As for me, my love has always been for family and one person in particular. My wife Joyce is the person I have always loved more than any other living being. At this moment I know that with our advancing age at some point one of us will leave this life, but that will not end the love for the one remaining individual. In summary, live life in pursuit of whatever you love and be happy.
