This post has two sad stories.
We were at the highway intersection just a block from our home when I saw 3 FEDX ground trucks there. We were expecting a delivery from Wayfair (they have just what we need) and I thought sure one of them had our package. We returned home a few minutes later and no package at the door. Huge dissatointment! Oh well maybe next week.
Millie was sitting in her rocking chair on her front porch, waiting on the OATS bus to pick her up to go to the bingo parlor. The bus pulled up and the other ladies on their way to bingo started calling her name to wake her up for the bus. Millie didn't wake up because Millie died before the bus got there. The bus driver called 911 and waited until the responders got there to attend to Millie and the rest of the ladies went on to bingo and were there before the caller shouted out the first number.
