Your Sentinel News, Paranormal

Some things are difficult if not impossible to explain. I was aboard ship, 8000 miles away from home when I had this vision of Joyce's long passed away grandfather and her great aunt (also passed away) helping a remotely related relative climb over a dark wall. I wrote to Joyce to tell her about it. At the time it took about two weeks for letters to get either direction. I received a letter from Joyce a week later telling me that same old man had died. Our letters passed each other in transit. My vision happened about the time the old man actually died.

When my mother died I was 85 miles away working at Litton. My sister called to let me know she had passed. She was there with mom when it happened. As my sister and I talked, she told me that mom asked her if my father (already passed years earlier) was still standing in the corner of her hospital room? Mom said he had been there for several days.

Years ago our daughter had to go to a seminar in Oklahoma. She was driving home on the interstate from Oklahoma when she could hear my dead father telling her to pass the car she was following. She stepped down on the gas and as she was passing that car she looked in the rear view mirror and saw the hood of that car had ripped open and flew behind the car and hit right where our daughter had been driving.

When Joyce first came home from the hospital 3 years ago after spending 2.5 months in a hospital bed, her walking was difficult and her balance was not good at all. Every time she began to lose her balance she could feel her deceased father's hand on her shoulder helping her balance.

Just before Joyce's mother passed away we woke up to a loud noise in the house. We got up and went searching for the cause. There was a small shelf I had anchored on the dining room wall for some of Joyce's glassware. It was 5 feet above the floor. It hit the hardwood floor with all the old glassware and yet nothing was broken. I picked up the shelf and put it back and applied half my weight to it and it was solid. I put the glassware back on it and it stayed there for years until we left the farm. We sat there the day it happened drinking our coffee when Joyce said she knew it was her deceased uncle William letting us know he was in the area to be there for her mother's passing. Her mother did pass just a few days later.

This past week our son-in-law was down at their property working in the barn when he heard a familiar song. His mother had an Elvis Christmas ornament that was battery operated and it played one of his songs. It had been on her tree for years. She passed away years ago and they moved her Christmas things to the barn on their property. He had worked in that barn for 2 years since they acquired the property and never heard it play. That battery had not worked for several years until last week. He took it to be a sign that his mother was stopping by for a visit.

It's easy to discount things like I wrote above, but they do happen as a sign to those who accept them.
