I read an article that stated flies have more than 1000 optic nerves in each eye. That is so crazy to think that they have so many optic nerves in such a tiny organ.
We humans have 1 in each eye. It makes me sad that Joyce has only 1 optic nerve in 1 eye that is working. I just have to wonder why the Creator gave so many to a tiny annoying creature, when we humans could use a few more than we have?
Another note, did anyone other than me ever wonder why we sailors always went west to get to the far east?
Why is it we can drive south on street labeled north Campbell? How can we be going west on a US highway that is labeled as a north south route?
