John from Outer Space Chapter 2

John and I continued sipping on ice-cold Budweisers as we talked. I was quickly realizing that John certainly had a way with the ladies. Every female that came to the bar for a refill seemed mesmerized with John’s looks and witty banter. I began to envy his skills, skills that I did not have when I was single. I asked John (in the time gaps when there was no female buzzing around him) “how did you learn those skills in such a short time?”

He told me, “we constantly monitor Earth beings’ interactions and study what works and what does not. We have done this for a long time and we know you humans better than you know yourselves. I know that you Bill, you are not sure that you believe what I am telling you, but you keep buying beers to hear what I have to say. That tells me you are interested and want it all to be true."

Another hottie stepped up to the bar and was instantly under John’s spell. 5 minutes later, her boyfriend came swaggering over to start a ruckus. He started to give John a shove, but John countered with a lightning fast swat that sent the big fellow back about 8 feet and toppling over a table there. John stood up, scanned the room for any other threats and then walked over to the then trembling bully and casually said, “I’m sure sorry fella, I kinda jumped when you came up and scared me.” The bumbling brute rose up and hastily made his way out the swinging doors and vanished into the casino. I asked John how he did that with practically no effort. He said he learned it watching old Kung Fu movies. I was not sure I believed that, but I let it go without further questioning. I certainly did not want to rile John up in any way, shape or form. The bumbling brute came back through the swinging doors with his posse in tow. They walked up to John and invited him outside to settle the previous altercation. John stood up, turned to me and said, “Bill, would you entertain this young filly for me while I step outside with these fellas?” John walked out the side door with six of those big Oklahoma boys right behind him…
