April 26, 2017 We were near Walmart again today. There was a woman very near there with a sign “need work, need food;” she was just yards away from a sign that said now hiring. WTF.
I was getting out of my chair today when the seat lifted. I turned it over thinking a screw had loosened, only to discover there were never any screws installed on the front of the cushion when we bought the chairs. Minor problem, but I reached into our junk box and found two furniture screws I have had for more than 30 years. The moral of this story is never throw an old screw away!
That moral has many levels, think about it. Life is very, very good.
