Retirement

Here are my thoughts on the worst and the best things about retirement.

The worst thing so far, is the fact that there are no more paid holidays when you can just kick back, smile and feel good about doing nothing.

The best thing is on snowy, cold days like today, you can just kick back, smile, have a beer and not have to scrape a windshield, or drive on icy roads. You can just crack open a cold beer and think about the unfortunate ones, the downtrodden, who have to drive to work in this weather. Best of all you can just sit back and open another beer. You can just sit and watch the snow fly and while you enjoy the snowfall you can drink a beer. I really don’t miss work and if I do on occasion think about work; I kick back pop a top and drink a frosty cold beer. You may think, “how sad,” but the only sad part is having to refill the refrigerator so often.
