Farm Pictures Showing Spring is on the Way

I was out this morning taking some pictures and with snow on the ground, trees on the farm are coming alive once more. We often have blooms by this time of year, but this year they are delayed. 
This is one of the apple trees getting ready.

 These are spurs on the apple tree.

 These are remnants of last year's crab-apples, but the spurs of new life are beginning to form. 

 This closeup is a Forsythia getting ready to pop open with its beautiful yellow display.

 This is a purple lilac also preparing to bloom this month.

 These are native plum spurs.

 You can see the pear tree is getting ready to bloom very soon.
