Normally in August things are so dry here, the grass is brown and it crunches underfoot. There are no mushrooms anywhere within miles. But then this year we have so much rain that moss is growing and these giant mushrooms are growing in the woods. Rhett found these in the woods out back.
The dead leaves on the ground are about 4 inches long, so you can imagine how big these mushrooms are.
These aren't as big as the other, but they are so abnormal this time of year.
