250727 If Only

I watched a show a few days ago where a man got to see how his life affected so many others lives.

I’ve lived a long life and during that time I’ve known more people than I can count. That leads me to wonder what effect I may have had on those I’ve served with in the navy or worked with in civilian life. Have I helped a few or even many in my life or have I harmed them in some way?

I have had two men that told me something I said to them had changed their life. I’ll never know about those whom I may have hurt by something I did or said.

At this point in my life, I try to be kind to everyone I know and never speak ill of those I don’t care for. I don’t want to harm anyone with a spoken word. There may be an instance when I say something that hurts another person’s feelings and I don’t even know it.
