Everything was going well
no one imagined the ensuing hell
my life changed forever
in the blink of an eye
with a cracked hip it’s tough to walk however you try
I’m finally home after many days
I’m so happy in so many ways
my daughter Annie is with me to help me get around
no better help could ever be found
she’s like an angel to have to guide my way
she’s been with me every day
at some point, I’ll be healthy again and be able to live alone
then our contact will be over the phone
I thank her family, Rhett and Hailey
who have had to live without her daily
I’ll miss her when she goes back home
and I’ll be back to living alone
Yes but you will be self reliant again. If you were in an assistant living you'd have all the help you needed. You look healthy that's a good thing. Take care my friend and God bless
ReplyDeleteI think there is an over 55 complex being built just a block away from here and if it's done before April of 2026, I'll try to get a room there. There's no information on the place as yet. I'm hoping to get in there.

I think that is fantastic that Annie is able to help you. It may be slow going but strength will come. Stay positive and work hard.
