250529 Home Again!

Be it ever so humble, there’s no place like home.

It’s been a long time getting here, but I’m home again.

I spent several days in the hospital and then several more in a rehabilitation center in Springfield.

I’m not over all the aches and pain. I have a walker and a wheel chair at home now. I’m able to get around quite well. I haven’t a clue how long it will take for my wounded leg to fully heal. It’s just nice to be home again in familiar surroundings.

I must admit that the hospital and the rehab center served some excellent meals and I was powering them down and gaining a few pounds.

My daughter Annie has been with me through the hospital and the rehab center and still with me here at home. She has been very helpful all along the way. I’m happy to have her with me and I’m proud she has spent so many days and hours with me.

    1. I'm so happy being home and my daughter Annie is with me 24/7 helping me recover. It's still a long way before full recovery, but I'm getting there the sooner the better.

  3. So happy to hear from you and I know how good it feels to be back home. It's great that Anne has been there for you. I think now that you are home you need to look into meals on wheels. The food is really good and they bring it to you. Go on the computer and look then up to get the number. You need to get in more protein into your meals. I guess you heard about Bill Cameron. So sad. He was a good guy. Well Bill you take care honey.
