When I’m down and feeling blue,
Now I know just what to do,
I go to Walmart to watch the crowds going through,
I see them all,
The overweight, the thin, the short and the tall,
The old, the young, the timid, the bold,
I see every type of person in a short time,
Looking at them all, I try to see where I fit into the thundering herd. I see those who appear to be older than me. One thing I come away with is that despite my age I feel I am healthier than many of those I see at Walmart.
I feel better when I get home because I'm still alive and kicking.
Amen!
ReplyDeleteI suppose I can say that I try to be a good man, good neighbor, God fearing old man doing the best that I can for myself and hopefully enriching my readers in some small way. If I accomplish that, I am happy.
