240210 Super Bowl

Are you ready Chiefs fans?

The big kahuna is tomorrow at 5:30 central time. The Chiefs are trying to win back to back super bowls. No team has done this for 20 years now. The San Francisco team is also a great team, so the Chiefs have their work cut out for them. The Chiefs game against Buffalo was a squeaker, with the Chiefs barely winning in the last moments of the game. This one against the San Francisco team may be even tougher than the one with Buffalo. The game will require a lot of beer and softdrinks along with a boat load of pizza, popcorn and Doritos. I’m not one to pray for a winning game, but you feel free to pray for the Chiefs should you want or need to do so. This game will not be a walk in Central Park. Let’s hope we don’t get mugged in the park. I saw the cheapest tickets sold by the NFL were $2,000 and sold by a lottery. They are long gone now. The current rate according to StubHub now is $8,600. So should you want to see the game in Nevada, by the time you get tickets for you and your spouse, plus a hotel room for the weekend you would be spending roughly $20,000 including air fares to get there. My calculations may be a tad bit on the low side. That’s almost the cost of a new small car. A car would last perhaps 10 years, a Super Bowl weekend will last 48 hours. As for me, I’ll kick back and watch the game in a comfortable chair at home with a comfortable temperature setting, unlike being jammed into a small stadium seat in a stadium that could easily be over 100 degree temperature, but that’s just my thinking.

GO CHIEFS!
