After my narrow escape from Key West in part 2, I decided to make a trip deep down into old Mexico. I had heard about a plastic surgeon there who is very good at his work, despite having a nice sanitary hospital setting. He does his work in an old unassuming garage he has set up as his surgery.
I now have an entirely new face and bone structure. Those who knew me before or after I went to work for the company will not be able to recognize me and that goes for those in the company too.
I’ll be traveling around our country for a while to check up on my friends who are not in the company. You won’t know where or when, but I’ll see you in a restaurant or a bar, perhaps in a casino or even a church. I want to know if you are okay and doing well. I’m sorry I won’t be able to speak with you. That could put you in a potentially dangerous situation. No doubt the company has someone watching you to see if I show up to visit. If the company sees you with a new and unrecognized friend they may get the idea that the friend is an intermediary from you to me.
This is my last note to you. I refer you to a quote from Mark Twain, “The rumors of my demise are greatly exaggerated.”
I'll be waiting for your secret visit!
ReplyDeleteYou know I'll be there incognito. How's George and Saundra these days?
