221112 What Happened?

I have some fall pictures from last year at the end of this post.

It seems to me that somewhere I lost the fall weather this year.

Is it just me that feels like we went from hot summer to winter in a matter of days? Autumn has always been my favorite season of the year and somehow I got gypped out of my fall colors. I remember one day the colors were beautiful, but I didn’t have my camera with me. I figured the next day I would take some pictures of what was shaping up to be a beautiful fall. We had a heavy frost and the next morning the color was gone. I could see burnt leaves on the ground and the shrubs were devoid of leaves on top, nothing but dried twigs standing out above. I missed my opportunity.
