Autumn was the best time on the farm.
The beauty was in sight everywhere. The gardening was done for the year. During the dry years there was no more mowing to be done. My walks through the woods on the trails I had created were spectacular! Life seemed good.
I agree that life is good. We all have ups and downs, but overall life is what we make of it and it should not be wasted by wallowing in one's own pity.
