220418 Sentinel, The Answer

I watched a movie today.
It was on Amazon Prime.
The movie was a bittersweet drama. The title is “The Note” not the movie “The Notebook.” The movie is about a note found washed ashore from a plane crash just off the coast near one of the Carolinas. The story shows the reporter who found the note and begins her journey to find the person the note was meant for and then deliver it to that person.
The reporter followed leads she could find searching for the one who should have it as a last remembrance of what the writer scribbled down in the last three minutes before the crash. Each person she visited had their own story of the tragedy in his/her life. In the end the reporter found the right person and the kicker was that the journey brought love back into the reporter’s life after her suffering her own tragic memories. At that point there is a wonderful revelation for the reporter.
What I take away from the story is that love is the answer to almost every question about happiness. Anyone I know of who is happy, has love in his or her life. I don’t know of anyone who does not have or in my case had love in their life and is happy. Love is a form of energy and we get that energy with love, love makes a person feel good. People with love in their heart have joy all over their faces. I can see it in their eyes. I’m not writing about strictly marital love; a person can be filled with the love of others and/or helping others.
Teenagers think they are in love when it is really infatuation, but that creates the same energy as true love does. The wonders of being a teen are when one infatuation falls apart, they bounce back with another person in short order. If only we adults and seniors had that ability, our lives would be happier.
