210607 The Sentinel, Necessary Things

This is a human heart during open heart surgery.

What is the most important organ in a body? Is it the brain, heart, lungs, stomach, liver? A person can’t live without any one of them.

Which is more important, arms, legs? Are not feet, ears, important too? One might think all are valuable. If that is so, how about life as we know it?

I believe that all of the people in our lives are important. Without the local trash man we would have waste piled up so high we couldn’t live. Without fast food workers some people would go hungry. Without grocery store shelf stockers, how would we get food? Without truck drivers nothing would get to stores.

Just as organs are necessary in our life, so are all of the people in our lives.
