Merry Christmas to all today.
I have one Christmas Wish to share. My wish is that we will have at least Christmas in our lifetime when there is peace throughout the world and all soldiers, sailors airmen and marines will have the day at home with their families. I know that is a tall order and may seem impossible, but sometimes the impossible becomes the possible. That happens every day in our scientific world.
Historically change happens when young people rise up against tyranny, oppression and the conduct of bad leaders. Usually there is bloodshed and that is sad, but the job gets done. I believe this current generation of young people around the world may have the courage to make it happen, as generations before them have done, but this generation may make it happen and create a lasting peace around the world. This generation is the smartest ever on the planet and if they have the courage, the job will be done. It will not be this year, maybe not next, but it may, should happen.
Imagine a world where instead of spending the world's wealth on weapons, wars and bloodshed, it would be spent on making the world a better place. What a wonderful world it would be!
