I believe everyone has a soul, but what exactly is a soul? Is it what we call our spirit? Whatever it is, I have met some people that caused me to wonder if they did have a soul. What happens to the soul when we die?
I think what we call our soul is our consciousness. So where does that consciousness go? If we say it goes to heaven, fine, but where is heaven? If our soul (consciousness) (energy) travels at the speed of light it can take hundreds of years to approach the edge of the universe where heaven might be. Then again, maybe heaven is just another dimension that is right here, but not accessible with our 3 dimensional bodies. Maybe that is the answer I was looking for.
