Artificial intelligence will kill us. This is a Ted Talk (English Language) in Hamburg Germany. I have warned about artificial intelligence in past posts, this talk and its slides confirms what I have said before. Artificial intelligent entities learn thousands of times faster than humans. Once artificial intelligence is operational it learns and updates itself and is out of human control. At 17.5 minutes in the video the guy talks about a small intelligent tank at a review for generals and soldiers that while going through its paces, turned, scanned and prepared to fire on the reviewing stand all on its own. Had it not been for a US marine it would have wiped out 200 officers and men. This is what people with cooler heads fear. The tank was disabled by the marine and is still in development despite its very bad decision. The navy X-47-B is an intelligent attack plane that can take off from an aircraft carrier, fly 2000 miles kill targets and return for a landing with no human intervention. It can even view targets, make decisions and kill the targets on its own. It could even override its human control and kill willy-nilly.
