We were walking the upper level track at the fitness center when I looked down on the basketball court and saw a mom with two towhead (very blond haired) twin boys on the court. They had basketballs that were 1/3 the size of the boys. Mom was collecting the balls from the court on a rolling cart. The one twin dropped the basketball and mom picked it up and put it on the cart and started to move away. The one who dropped the basketball began to cry and ran after her. I thought at first he just wanted the ball back, but it turned out he just wanted to catch up and help her push the cart. It was a heartwarming sight to see.
I had to renew my driver's licence this week. I took the eye exam and passed it and the clerk printed a paper for me to read and sign. I noticed that my vision was labeled 40-40. I asked her if that would indicate I may have to have glasses to drive in the future? She told me no, my vision test showed 20-20 vision but their computer system does not allow a value in that field less than 40-40. Really?
Many people want immortality and while I do not, I can understand that view for those people. I would just like to be remembered in a kind way and each day as I write and add more to the internet servers, I feel like I could be remembered for a long time because as far as I can tell, once on the internet, nothing ever goes away.
