Hands in the dirt 1805

      The picture below is last year's lilies, but I have more planted today.

      Getting my hands in dirt is a wonderful thing and today was the day. We went to Lowes and got some marigolds for immediate color and I put spring/summer bulbs below them, hopefully getting good results. I have never tried this before, but I do not know why it would not work. I put the marigolds in the center and the bulbs around so the starts from the bulbs can get straight to the surface.
      I will take pictures when things get going well. We have some lilies from last year coming up and that makes me happy that they lasted through the winter. They will be in bloom shortly.
