I suppose I should not be as surprised as I am about Walmart. Every time I am in the store I see people checking out with mountains of goods stacked high in their carts. Now that I am living in my little shoe box behind the store I see all the trucks that supply my local store. I see columns of empty pallets stacked 10 feet high out there. Goods are flooding out the front door like a tsunami and at the same time an ocean of goods are flowing into the back door filling the voids left behind. I had never seen the backside of a superstore before. Where once I was strictly a front door man, now I have become a back door man too, and I kind of like it.
