It is six months until election day
as I see it, it could go either way
no one knows who will be the electee
we all just have to wait and see
it could be the Donald Trump
if he gets enough votes to go over the hump
perhaps the choice will be
the one called Hillary
Bernie's a long shot, but has a slim chance
he'd love to get into Hillary's pants
the republicans are not sure who to choose
after the convention, it could be Ted Cruz
Bernie wants a voice at the convention
he's going to create a lot of tension
the pundits hang on every word
waiting for any candidate to drop a turd
comedians are honing their skills
ready to ply their comedic thrills
millions of homes will host a debate
over which one is the best candidate
me, I could go either way
I'll decide on election day
