Our first snow is falling down
the trees are white, as is the ground
the sky is just as white
and will be into the night
the temp is falling faster than the snow
happy I am I have nowhere to go
state trucks are plowing the road at this time
their drivers are happy for the overtime
critters are tucked away in their nest
showing that mother nature knows best
I sit here in my comfortable space
admiring nature’s style and grace
