An Unexplained Event

Something has happened that I cannot explain. Last night we had our dining room curtains closed as we almost always do on nasty, windy weather days. It would have looked like this below.

But when I got up this morning and walked into the dining room, this is what I saw, along with a little dusting of snow.

When Joyce got up, I asked her why she had opened the curtains before she went to sleep last night. She replied that she had not opened them. There was no one else in the house and I did not open the curtains when I got up this morning, and yet they were open. This is not our first paranormal experience in the house, but it seems a more extreme event than ever before.
