Dodging Raindrops for some Farm Pictures Today

I was out dodging raindrops today to get a few pictures before the rain turned heavy again. We have had 3 inches of rain already this week and as I write this it is pouring once again. I did manage to get a few pictures this afternoon.

This first is a day lily and there will be more as the other colors bloom.

This is Nandina, a year-round accent plant that blooms in June and usually has red berries through the winter.

You may have forgotten this from last year. It is an elephant garlic in bloom, four feet above ground.

This is Joyce's Lavender plant. The bumble bees were all over it this afternoon and the aroma from the plant was thick in the air.

This little butterfly was enjoying the Lavender too.
