Boston, New Polar Icecap?

The Sentinel  We never let facts stand in the way of a good story.

It has been quite a while since the last official Sentinel issue has been published. The editor feels that this new story is important enough to rate a special edition. This news flash just in concerns Sven Norton, a Nobel prize winning scientist who has just revealed that the earth's axis has shifted causing the north pole to shift towards the sun (melting the polar ice cap) and causing the north east portion of the United States to shift away from the sun causing that area to become an icy, snow filled virtual polar icecap. Residents of Boston are already moving north to the upper regions of Canada to avoid the bad weather. Sven predicts that the Boston area's spring time may shift closer to July, leaving little time left for the expected three week long summers to come. Schools in Boston have begun distributing I-PADS to students so they may continue school projects through the three week summers to make up for the now extended winters filled with snow days expected there. Boston area boat sellers are already ordering new boats with steel reinforced bows to cut through ice flows in the nearby harbor. The added ice flows are expected to raise water levels by six feet making shoreline properties nearly worthless. Local businesses have popped up with contractors offering to lift shoreline homes and place them on barges which will allow them to weigh anchor and move with the tides, thereby allowing residents there to continue living in their homes even if a boat is required to go from home to shore.
