First TV

I can remember the next-door neighbors had a TV with a small screen like this but it was in a standup console.

The housewife would tell me if I was a good boy all day that I could watch Howdy Doody that afternoon.

I loved that show, so I was on my best behavior to get to see that show.

Then the sadistic bitch would send me home right when she turned the TV on for the show.
