New flowers June 12, 2014

More new flowers to showcase today.
Our winter was so harsh this year I was not sure the cone flowers would come back.

The day lilies or what people here call ditch lilies are always great.

Elderberries are another dependable flower and tasty fruit for the birds. We tried making elderberry wine once, but we must have done something wrong, so I just buy it at the liquor store now.

Hollyhocks are another fairly dependable flower. They are bi-annual so they move around a lot and we never know where they will show up the next year.

Hailey thinks she is a cow whisperer. All she has to do is go and stand by the fence and the cows being naturally curious come to her. She loves it though.
