Thursday January 9, 2014 we paid our electric bill today for December. We had switched over to all LED lighting for our Christmas lights. We saved about $18 for the month of December. Granted we spent more than that for all new lights, but they should last for many years, making them well worth using. We had bought and installed them early in November and saved about $14 that month so they just about paid for themselves during the 1.75 months they were in use. I like to think they are less likely to cause a fire than the older mini-incandescent lights.
