Wild Flowers on the Farm June 4, 2013
This first picture is Crown Vetch. It grows well here on our poor soil. It spreads with no effort at all.
I have no idea of what this flower is, but it comes back every year in the spring.
This is Gray Dogwood. It is excellent cover for birds and small critters and the small white berries are eaten by wild turkeys in the fall.
The wild daises are going strong this spring. They are all over the farm, but do move around from year to year.
