We have been here for 24 years and rarely do I get to see a cactus flower. They only bloom for one day a year. I happened to be out mowing today and saw one. I ran back to the house to get my camera. This is the first time I have ever gotten a picture of one.
The flowers below are Asiatic Lilies. They all bloom at nearly the same time and last for just a few days. They are spectacular when they bloom.
