After high winds yesterday and 2.5 inches of driving rain, the Clematis Jackmani has opened up producing a wonderful display today. Life is good on the farm, despite having to wrestle snakes on the front porch at times.
This closeup is just as beautiful as it can be. How these delicate flowers survive is beyond me.
