Spring Flowers

The purple leaf sand cherry is always a pleasant spring surprise.

Our apple trees don't produce much fruit, but the blossoms are spectacular.

Creeping phlox is a rugged survivor of our hot and dry summers, but it is in its glory in the early spring.

Most of the time the rabbits eat all of our tulips, but last year I covered this one with a cage to thwart those pesky rabbits.

Last of today's blooms is the money plant. It looks like just a weed type flower in the spring, but in the fall the seeds look like quarters, hence the name money plant. The woman who gave me the first starts swore I would hate her when they started growing everywhere, but these have self contained in one small area.
