Gray skies in mid November
Bring closure to a summer to remember
It’s starting to look all bleak and dreary
Falling leaves show trees looking weary
Red and gold leaves have given their all
Making me wonder when snow will fall
Fierce winds from the north give me a chill
Days are more pleasant when winds are still
No matter what this winter may bring
There’s only six more months until spring
The earth will then come alive
Flowers will once again thrive
