The robins fill my yard here
I hope Spring is truly near
There may still be snow
No one can really know
I'm ready for winter to end
Mowing my grass is just around the bend
My flowers will soon be ready to bloom
Putting an end to a harsh winter's gloom
I am hoping for a balance of sunshine and rain
My flowers and vegetables have most to gain
I want to be outside and comfortably warm
And hopefully avoid any damaging storm
I want to sit on the porch and drink my beer
Wishing all who drive by a day of good cheer
