Suppose you were able to bend time and space.
Where would you end up, in what foreign place?
If you bent the future, around to your face,
Would you have the courage to vanish, without leaving a trace
What if you could control your steps to re-trace?
Would you change your past, your present to erase?
How would you know what matters to change?
What events would you alter, your life to re-arrange?
If you were given, just one lowly hour,
To make your changes, would you use the power?
Would you have the courage, could you plan till the end?
What if your life was in your pocket, like wages, to spend?
Would you believe me, if I told you that you have a gift?
Did you know that your present is what gives your future its’ lift?
There’s no way I know, to change what you did last.
But this moment right now, gives your future its past.
Sit down my friend, your future is in control.
Just take responsibility for what’s in your soul.
Your future is controlled by what’s in your mind.
I look forward to it forever. Leave your past behind.
