Someone said the golden years are the best years of your life. That person was wrong!
The truth is, for many people, most of your gold has been spent on living that long. What’s left is sleepless nights, aching muscles along with mental confusion at times. What’s left is old memories of better days that are only interesting to the elderly person.
One or the other spouse has died leaving the other to mourn his or her loss. Generally the remaining spouse is the female, who is more kitchen savvy, shopping savvy and finance savvy, more proficient than the male.
This is what I believe. I may be wrong; I have been wrong before and I may be wrong with this post.
