I don’t know where that term came from because it makes no sense. There are many more seas than just 7. The sea of Japan, South China sea, Philippine sea, Mediterranean sea, Bering sea, Coral sea, Arabian sea, Sargasso sea, Caribbean sea, Tasman sea, Red sea, Black sea, Baltic sea, East China sea, Java sea, Celebes sea, Sulu sea, Adriatic sea. There are actually 76 seas around the world. I was in several of them during my navy days.
A sailor’s life
most sailors have a wife
some have more than one
a sailor’s divorce is never fun
a sailor’s life is on the sea
salty air makes him feel free
some sailors stay in for 20
then retire on all the money
some stay for 30 and want to stay more
but after 30 the navy shoves them out the door
I was a sailor for just over 10
but Joyce said any more would be the end
the navy mustered me out and let me go
adjusting to civilian life was more difficult than you know.
