The good thing is, my xray showed that the hip is healing well.
The bad thing is, my hip may take six months to a year or two to finally heal. That is something they cannot tell for sure.
The ugly thing is, the xray shows the bones quite bright, but everything else has a shadowy picture of my man parts in a three by three foot picture. My daughter had to take a picture of the xray, so now I don't want that picture floating around on the internet.
I have an appointment with a bone density doctor later this month. I wonder how dense my bones are? After all, I will be eighty years old on the last day of this month.
I never dreamt that I would live this long. I never wanted to outlive Joyce. I never wanted to be living alone. The good Lord has kept me here for some reason unknown to me. I’m still trying to figure that one out.
My daughter is living with me to take care of me, but someday I’ll be well enough for her to go back home and then I’ll be alone again. That will be a sad day for me as I’ve gotten used to having someone being with me. My daughter has many of the same traits as Joyce had dealing with me. I was the tech guy, but Joyce was the brains in the family. I never realized that until she passed from this life.

That's why you need to look into a senior living place. You won't be alone. They have so many functions for people to do. I wish your daughter would take you around to a few places in Springfield to check them out. I'm so glad to hear you are healing well. It won't take a year to feel better it will mean you're bones won't be so s strong for that long. Take care and stay out of trouble. Bb
ReplyDeleteBetty, I'm waiting for the senior center near me to be finished. I have a lease until April of 2026 and by that time the home should be open for business. It will be brand new and it will be for 55 and up. I see it rising every time I'm in the vicinity. I don't want to live in Springfield, never did. They have some nice apartment places ln Springfield but prices are very high and I would have to pay Springfield utilities which are unbearably high now.
