I rarely sleep more than 2 hours at a time, but I do sleep about 3 times a day, so at best I get 6 hours of rest a day, which is not out of the norm for people my age.
That leaves 18 hours for me to do other things. My apartment is always clean because being alone, it doesn’t get dirty. I am a clean and neat and tidy man. I microwave all of my meals so food prep is quick.
I practice my yoga, take walks if weather permits. I meditate and pray and that doesn’t take too long either. I frequently move and shuffle furniture around, but that only takes an hour, so I still have close to 15 hours to kill every day.
I watch a lot of movies and documentaries to wile away the hours. I’m big on WW-2 movies and documentaries. I often wish I had been on an aircraft carrier during WW-2. I watch a few action movies, but I more often watch romance movies. I like them because they always have happy endings and I like that.
What I don’t understand is grown men and women kissing and hugging their parents in movies. I was not raised that way and Joyce’s family wasn’t that way either. Hugging and kissing parents seemed weird to both of us. I hugged my father one time and he was astonished, he didn’t know what to do or say. Maybe other families really do that sort of thing. I don’t know.
