250301 Forever

Nothing is forever except when we go before the Lord for judgement.

Post WW2 we had a wonderful society. Returning veterans came home to a country filled with opportunity, with jobs for all and they made a good living.

By the seventies the slide began. Mid seventies a recession began, making times tough for a while. In 79 things started improving and that ran through the eighties and into the nineties.

Along came the two thousands and since then our society has been on a downhill slide, until today.

Now it’s a dumpster fire! I’m 79 years old and I’ve never seen a worse time in my life. I fear for my family that will have to continue living on after I am gone. I pray that the dumpster fire dies out and my family will see better days ahead.

As I said earlier, nothing lasts forever, so there will be better days at some point in the future, God willing.

    1. Thank you Kristy. I assume you are doing well these days. I'm plugging along doing what I can. I'm happy the worst of winter seems to be fading. My furnace was running constantly for January and February. I'm looking forward to"T" shirt weather.
