Post WW2 we had a wonderful society. Returning veterans came home to a country filled with opportunity, with jobs for all and they made a good living.
By the seventies the slide began. Mid seventies a recession began, making times tough for a while. In 79 things started improving and that ran through the eighties and into the nineties.
Along came the two thousands and since then our society has been on a downhill slide, until today.
Now it’s a dumpster fire! I’m 79 years old and I’ve never seen a worse time in my life. I fear for my family that will have to continue living on after I am gone. I pray that the dumpster fire dies out and my family will see better days ahead.
As I said earlier, nothing lasts forever, so there will be better days at some point in the future, God willing.

250301 Forever
Nothing is forever except when we go before the Lord for judgement.

ReplyDeleteThank you Kristy. I assume you are doing well these days. I'm plugging along doing what I can. I'm happy the worst of winter seems to be fading. My furnace was running constantly for January and February. I'm looking forward to"T" shirt weather.
