Monday morning I was dressed and ready to go to the doctor’s office for a routine checkup. Suddenly, my head got hot, 102 degrees and I could barely move. I had just enough energy to go to my freezer, get out a bag of ice into a towel and lay down. From early afternoon on through the night and the entire next day, I was delirious, seeming to pass out or awaken multiple times, more than I could count. It’s now 1 pm on Wednesday the 10th of April. I had just enough energy to drive to Walmart and get some throat and some cold and flu medicine. Hopefully I’ll be a bit better tomorrow, if not I’ll go to the doctor’s office.
It may be a few more days before I post again.

Bill please be sure you stay hydrated, my neighbor just got over the flu and it was bad.
ReplyDeleteSharon, this thing hit me so fast I couldn't believe it. No hint of anything being wrong, and a moment later I thought I was dying. It's been 4 days of little sleep, little food, and lots of water. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow. Today is the first day I felt well enough to go to the doctor's office.
