240204 Blessed

I was blessed during my life.

Warning! Everything in this post is true. If you can't handle the truth, stop now because you may not like what I have written.

I had the privilege of living with two of the smartest women I ever met. Neither of them was tech savvy, but they knew about life, everyday living and how to live. We didn’t always agree, but they were always right and I would eventually bow to their convictions.

One thing that surprised me was they both believed as I do about reincarnation being a real thing. Stay with me so I can explain this reincarnation that not everyone believes is true.

Joyce could not get on a ladder or even a step ladder. I asked her why she could'nt do that? Joyce knew and stated that in a past life she fell off a high cliff to her death.
Her mother, who really surprised me, said once that before she came back in her next life she was going to shop around for the right womb so she could live a life of luxury and fine living.

Joyce, her mother and I were all born and raised in the same city; however we all had the same experience the first time we went to different places. Joyce told me the first time we went to California as we crossed the border from Ariziona to California that she was home once again. She was born here at one time and this was her home. Later on we used to go to Torry Pines north of San Diego. Torry Pines was on high cliffs over the Pacific ocean. We would watch guys with parasails run up to the edge of the cliffs, dive out over the ocean and sail on the incoming winds there. Joyce knew that these were the cliffs where she had perished in a past life. I would go out to the edge of the cliffs to watch the parasailers as they glided through the air currents. Joyce could not go within 40 feet of the cliffs.

I had my revelation the first time I stepped on Japanese soil. I knew I had lived here before and this was my previous home. Every time I went back there I felt I was coming home again.

Joyce’s mother felt that way the first time she went to Florida to help her sister after her sister’s husband passed away. Her mother felt that she was coming home to her home in her past life.

My father was on one of his many trips to the hospital. Joyce would take mom to the hospital in the morning to visit dad and would pick her up after work and take her back to the farm. I went every day after work to be with dad. Ministers of all denominations go to hospitals to visit the sick and dying. The minister who visited dad happened to be a Priest that came in every afternoon to visit with dad. I arrived after work and walked into dad’s room. He was leaving as I came into the room. He stopped and said he knew me; we had met before. I replied “no we haven’t met before.” He insisted that we had met. My reply was, “perhaps in a past life.” His eyes widened like he was seeing the devil. He ran out of the room like his hair was on fire. He never went back to see my father again. Had it been a Baptist or a Protestant minister, I'm sure the result would have been the same. He just happened to be a Priest.

Apparently Christians, do not believe in reincarnation. That seems strange to me, especially since one of the foundations of the church is the fact that Jesus died on the cross and 3 days later he came back to life. So why is it not possible that reincarnation does exist for other people? People die in hospitals during operations and during that time they report their spirit leaves their bodies and floats up to the ceiling and they can see the doctors and nurses trying to revive them. They enter what they see as heaven and other spirits there communicate with them and tell them that they must go back because they have yet to accomplish their purpose in life. After they return to life they can tell their doctors and nurses everything they saw during the operation. The doctors cannot understand how this happens.

There are thousands of people who have had what is called near death experiences and they are very similar in every case. Is that not reincarnation if they were clinically dead and yet they came back to life?

  1. Well said my friend, our most ancient religions embrace this concept as a tenant of their beliefs. The question is then raised, are there unlimited souls or are they being reintroduced into existence?

    1. Rhett, a friend asked that same question back in the nineties when I spoke of reincarnation. He said it was impossible. I did not have an answer then and I don't have one yet. However, just because I don't know the answer, does not mean it doesn't exist and doesn't happen.
