Tonight is the eve of the birth of Christ.
We celebrate Christmas day with gifts, following the tradition of gifts given to Jesus on His birthday. Hopefully you will have friends or family or both to celebrate with tomorrow. Many will fill churches tonight or tomorrow or both. When you are there, please say a short prayer for me as I will say a prayer for my friends and family. Love one another on this day and throughout the new year. Love is the greatest gift of all, embrace it and be happy.
Merry Christmas to all and let us not forget those soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen serving far away from home on Christmas. I can say from experience that when a man or woman serving overseas is far from home on Christmas, it seems just like any other day in service. Some may be killed in action on Christmas day. Please say a prayer for those men and women overseas.
