I was watching another documentary of WW-2 today. The cities in Europe were devastated during the war. I have read everything I could find about the war. Italy, most of France, Germany and England was in ruins by the end od the war. Not until now did it sink in on me that how bad it was.
I wonder how Joyce and I would do after losing our home and everything we had? We would have nowhere to go, but sit in the rubble and wonder where our next meal would come from?
Those people in Europe managed and somehow survived. Now at our age it would be rough. If we were young it would be easier, but we are no longer young.
