Today in the cold weather I thought it would be nice to remind you that winter will end and summer will arrive and this is what that looks like. I don't remember when I took this picture. It must have been summer because there are leaves on everything. Sunsets were gorgeous on the farm.
This is a cardinal climber vine in early summer. I bought some of these from a nursery early on, before I realized they grew naturally in this area.
This picture was the neighbor's pasture. It is summer and after he used his combine to knock the seed tops off the fescue grass causing the plants look more like straw than grass.
This was early spring when I took a picture of a sassafras tree just inside our fence line. I always enjoyed those trees.
This last picture is sumac a beautiful plant in late summer. we had a lot of them on the farm and they grow all over here and into Oklahoma.
